Installation InstructionsNatural Wireless Wall Sconce

All parts of the set of 2 natural wireless wall sconces laid out

Step 1

Unpack and organise all the parts as shown in this photo. Your set contains 2 lamps, so you should have:

2 rattan lampshades, 2 lamp bodies, 2 round adhesive magnetic pads, 2 small metal brackets and 2 bags of screws & wall plugs.

If you ordered our wireless bulbs at the same time, you will also find 2 bulbs, 2 remote controls and 2 charging cables in the same parcel.

(Place the pieces on a soft surface where there is no risk of damaging the paintwork.)

The two black lamp bodies with the white threaded ring on the bulb holder

Step 2

Take one lamp body. At the top, on the bulb holder, you will see a white threaded ring.

  1. Hold the black part of the bulb holder firmly with one hand.
  2. With the other hand, turn the white ring anticlockwise (to the left) until it comes off completely.
  3. Put the ring aside, you will need it in the next step.

Repeat the same thing on the second lamp.

Step 3

  1. Slide the lampshade onto the bulb holder: the small hole at the top of the shade goes over the threaded part.
  2. Screw the white ring back on clockwise (to the right) to lock the shade in place.
  3. Tighten by hand until the shade no longer moves. No need to force.

You can adjust the angle of the shade at any time using the small knob on the joint: loosen it, tilt the shade, then tighten it again.

Pressing the round adhesive magnetic pad firmly onto the wall

Step 4

The round pad is adhesive on one side only: that side goes on the wall. The other side holds the lamp magnetically.

  1. Choose your spot and lightly mark it with a pencil. Remember the lamp hangs from the pad, so the shade will sit just below it.
  2. Make sure the wall is clean, dry and as smooth as possible.
  3. Peel off the protective film and stick the pad on your mark.
  4. Press firmly with your fingers over the whole pad, with strong, even and constant pressure for 2 minutes.

Tip: the adhesive gets stronger over time, so if you can, wait about 1 hour before hanging the lamp. If you prefer to fix it with screws, simply go to Step 6.

Attaching the lamp to the magnetic pad on the wall

Step 5

Now simply bring the round base of the lamp close to the pad: it clicks into place on its own thanks to the magnet.

Centre the base on the pad and make sure the lamp hangs straight.

To recharge the bulb, simply unscrew it from the lamp, it's very easy. You can also pull the lamp gently off the pad at any time: the pad stays on the wall.

Step 6 (Optional)

Prefer a permanent fix? Use the small metal bracket and the screw kit included with each lamp, instead of the magnetic pad.

  1. Hold the metal bracket against the wall where you want the lamp and mark the 2 holes with a pencil.
  2. Drill the 2 holes and push in the yellow wall plugs.
  3. Screw the metal bracket to the wall.
  4. Hang the lamp: slide the slot on the back of the base over the bracket. Done!

Tip: before drilling, check on the back of the lamp which way the bracket fits into the slot, so you screw it to the wall the right way round.

Wireless rechargeable light bulbs with remote controls

Step 7

Your lamp is now firmly attached. All that's left is to screw a bulb into each lamp, through the wide opening of the shade.

Light bulbs are not included with this model. Our wireless rechargeable bulbs with remote control are made for these sconces, you can get them here.

To recharge them later, simply remove them and charge them using the cable supplied.
